Park Website

This is a relatively new State Park and was constructed with large RV’s in mind. It has 50 amp electrical service and many large level pull-through sites. The sites are not as private or well shaded as in the older parks. The park also has 10 "luxury" cabins.

The highlight of this park is the Silver River; one of Florida’s most scenic. Unfortunately, the river is only accessible by a lengthy hike The park now rents canoes however it is over one-half mile from the parking lot to the canoe launch. The park has no swimming facilities. The small museum at the park is outstanding and includes archeogical history as well as memorbilla covering the history of the Silver Springs attraction.

Nearby activities and attractions include Silver Springs, Wild Waters Adventure Park (seasonal) and Juniper Springs. We stayed here in September 2006 and August 2011
