Located just off I-95 at Exit 273, this store has new and antique motorcycles, accessories and gifts and an adjacent restaurant. It’s interesting even to non-Harley fans and is a nice place for a short rest stop. Harley Davidson

This outstanding Florida State Wildlife Park provides a year-round home to manatees. It is on the west coast of Florida just south of Crystal River.

Ichetucknee River

Ichetucknee River State Park

This is the premier tubing river in Florida and is also outstanding for kayaking and canoeing. The park is a day use park and has a 3.5 mile run with 8 major springs. Please note that no food or beverages are allowed on the river. The park is near High Springs and Fort White.Ichetucknee

Jacksonville Zoo

Kanapaha Gardens

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens

This day use park has a spring that empties into the Suwannee River. It is north of Brandford and is a nice area for picnicking and swimming. Little River Springs

Marjorie Rawlings

Matanzas Inlet

Matanzas Inlet

The inlet, south of St. Augustine, has a parking area and is a nice location for fishing and sunbathing. Swimming in the inlet is not advised but the protected area in the River is suitable for swimming. There is a ramp to the beach just north of the inlet. If you drive on the beach, I recommend that you head North towards Crescent Beach were the sand is firmer. The sand to the South toward the inlet can be soft.

Pebble Hill

This plantation is located north of Tallahassee and provides a view of plantations used as summer homes and hunting retreats. The mansion has all original artwork and furnishings.

Ravine Gardens

This day use park includes formal hibiscus, rose and azalea gardens which bloom in the spring. The ravines are the centerpiece of this park located in Palatka. Ravine State Gardens

Santa Fe River

Santa Fe River

This river, located primarily in Alachua County, is excellent for kayaking and canoeing. We recommend using an outfitter that can provide shuttle service. The trip from US Highway 27 to State Road 47 is outstanding. Along this route you pass Poe, Blue and Ginny Springs along with many smaller ones.

Alligator Farm

The St. Augustine Alligator Farm is just south of St Augustine across from Anastasia State Park. The Farm is a small zoo specializing in reptiles and birds Alligator Farm

St.Augustine Lighthouse

St. Augustine Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is just south of St Augustine on Highway A-1-A near Anastasia State Park. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse for some breathtaking views. In addition to the lighthouse, there is a small museum. Lighthouse

St. Marks

St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge

This National Wildlife Refuge is located on the Gulf of Mexico, south of Tallahassee. It is noted for its lighthouse and wildlife, including the annual Monarch butterly migration. St. Mark's

Silver Springs

Silver Springs

This old fashion theme park is best known for its glass bottom boat rides. It also has a jungle cruise, petting zoo and animal shows. Silver Springs is just east of Ocala on State Road 40 and is a nice venue for a family outing. Silver Springs

Wakulla

Wakulla State Park

This State Park is 14 miles south of Tallahassee. Wakulla is a magnitude one spring and the park is best known for its scenic boat ride. The park has a historic 27 room lodge but no camping facilities. Park Website

Washington Oaks

Washington Oaks State Gardens

This park south of St. Augustine has formal gardens on the intercoastal waterway and a public beach, known as Boulder Beach, which features coquina rock outcroppings. The beach is a great area for rock climbing and shell hunters. I don’t recommend swimming there do to all the hidden rocks. Park Website
