Egmont Key is a 380 acre island in the mouth of Tampa Bay, accessible only by boat. Recreational activities include beachcombing, hiking, swimming and snorkling. There are several private companies that offer half-day trips to the island for hiking and snorkeling. We visited this park in July 2003.
